- Supports Kayaks Up to 200 lbs: Tie-down and quick loop straps have a maximum tear strength of 1200 lbf/in and are UV resistant for long-lasting durability. Note that higher speeds may increase wind noise from the straps, so it’s best to drive at a moderate, optimal speed.
- Do Not Use in Rain: Rainwater can travel along the straps and seep into your car. We strongly advise against using the rack on rainy days. If it starts to rain during your trip, be mindful of potential water inside your vehicle. After exposure to rain, clean the rack pads with fresh water and dry them thoroughly before storing.
