Brian Duffy was voted as one of the topmost 100 influential photographers of all time in 2013. He was known for pushing the limits of his art form and has worked across the music, fashion, advertising and art worlds. Duffy is perhaps best known for taking iconic and striking photos of artist David Bowie which were used on the album artworks for Aladdin Sane, Lodger and Scary Monsters. The two also collaborated throughout Bowie’s projects such as Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, the Thin White Duke era and the film The Man Who Fell To Earth in 1975. Duffy has also taken stunning studio and portrait photography of cultural icons such as Jane Birkin, Brigitte Bardot, Debbie Harry of Blondie, Michael Caine, John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles and many more.
