Pneuma-Cel bladder clamps have been used in hundreds of conveyor stop/brake applications – from holding plastic detergent bottles prior to filling to stopping intricately machined parts for an assembly operation. Need to hold irregularly shaped and/or delicate objects? Our bladders are made of compliant yet durable reinforced EPDM rubber and can conform to irregularly shaped objects. They also can be operated under variable pressures (and gaps) to adjust the force applied on delicate parts.Having trouble with point loads using pneumatic cylinder style clamps? Our pneumatic bladder clamps provide uniform force distribution across the entire contact area. This is particularly helpful in bonding applications where you want ensure a consistent applied force over the entire bond line. Pneuma-Cel bladders are manufactured using high quality EPDM rubber with integrated fabric reinforcement for additional strength. These unique clamps have been tested to 1,000,000 use cycles (under normal conditions) with a standard operating pressure of 35 psi. An air connector is supplied out one end with an 18" long ¼” OD polyurethane hose and 1/8-27 NPT connector. The assembly comes with a pre-drilled low profile anodized retainer and hardware kit, so you can easily attach it to most T-slot framing systems. Once the retainer is installed, all you need to do is slide the bladder into place and you’re ready to go.
