- Important Compatibility Notes: Will require a separate connection of the red 12 volt ignition wire to the new radio wire harness since the factory radio harness doesn't have it. Some off-size usually off brand radios will require kit modification. Might not retain door chimes. Will not retain OnStar, steering audio controls, etc.
- This wire harness only works with regular factory audio systems- if the factory audio system is the premium system type like Bose, Boston Acoustics, external factory amp, etc. then this harness is not compatible.
